Simona is an accomplished Architectural Technologist from Lithuania who graduated from VIA University in Aarhus Denmark with a Bachelor's degree in BS Architectural Technology and Construction Management. With over four years experience working with various UK based architectural practices, Simona has developed a particular specialism for designing and delivering complex and highly detailed new-build and retrofit projects using digital 3D BIM models.   This approach requires an extra level of diligence, whilst also being able to work collaboratively with members of the design team, a skill for which she is very proficient.  Whilst at Redhead Architects, she has completed the technical information and full NBS specifications for two community buildings as well as various bespoke residences and commercial projects.

Simona is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), demonstrating her commitment to maintaining professional standards within her field.  She is also an active committee member of a young professionals networking group within the construction industry (G4C Norfolk). Simona brings a keen interest in the aesthetics of a design and she works closely with the Redhead team to carry a concept through into the technical stages. This approach helps the practice to develop buildings, which are beautiful as well as being compliant, long lasting energy efficient.

An accurate and fully coordinated package of information is of course essential for the success of any building project. As standards of compliance, energy efficiency and building safety become ever-more stringent, it has become essential to have someone like Simona on the team, who has the experience and ‘workflow’ to be able to manage large quantities of technical information and to present it methodically to the contractor responsible for delivering a building.
