Level 7 Architectural Apprentice

Luke is completing his architectural studies at the University of Cambridge and was nominated for the Architects’ Journal Student Prize in 2022. Before pursuing architecture, he served in a senior management role in the Royal Air Force. His 12 years of service instilled a disciplined work ethic and a strategic, analytical mindset that now informs his approach to design.

Within the practice, Luke contributes to residential, commercial and heritage projects by producing high-quality BIM models, design reports and key project inputs. His favourite projects to date include Old Catton Junior Clubhouse and Cottage Extension. He is a collaborative team member, bringing clarity, structure and a proactive attitude to group work across all project stages. He also develops innovative workflows, manages the practice website and creates immersive visualisations using Unreal Engine.
